Our free home composting newsletter, The Cheshire Composter, is full of handy hints and seasonal tips as well as competitions and invitations to our composting workshops and events.
Our readers were delighted with the recent compost events that took place during Compost Awareness Week where visitors were given a behind the scenes tour of the Gowy composting facility to see what happens to garden waste from our Household Waste Recycling Centres.
Our second event was an opportunity for keen composters to meet with a number of experts including the Head of Gardens at Tatton Park, Sam Youd and Home Composting Advisor from the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP), Julie Hesmondhalgh who both gave useful advice and shared their own experiences of composting.
